San Antonio at New Orleans Game Preview
The Spurs knocked off the Sacramento Kings 98-85 on Monday night to move to 47-34 on the year. They are in a three-way tie for fifth place in the Western Conference standings and just a game behind Portland for the third seed in the playoffs. While San Antonio is 4-2 straight-up in its last six games, it fell to 3-5 against the spread in its last eight contests after failing to cover VietBet’s closing 14-point line in Monday’s win.
It was a total team effort against the Kings with five different players in double figures. Rudy Gay had a big night off the bench with 18 points and six rebounds and LaMarcus Aldridge added 15 points and 14 rebounds to help pace the win. Aldridge continues to lead the team in both points (23.2) and rebounds (8.5).
At 47-34, New Orleans is also in the current logjam in the West when it comes to its seed for the playoffs. The Pelicans have helped their cause with a four-game winning streak both SU and ATS. The beat the Los Angeles Clippers 113-100 on Monday to cover as nine-point road favorites with VietBet. The total has stayed UNDER in five of their last eight games. They return home with a 5-2 record (SU and ATS) in their last seven home games.
Anthony Davis had another big night against the Clippers with a game-high 28 points. Nikola Mirotic scored 24 points while pulling down 16 rebounds and he connected on four of his nine attempts from three-point range. The Pelicans are the fourth-highest scoring team in the league with 111.6 points per game. They fall all the way to 29th in points allowed (110.6), but they have only given up an average of 104.5 points during this current winning streak.
San Antonio at New Orleans Free Game Prediction
There is quite a bit on the line for each of these teams in this regular season finale. I would lean towards New Orleans as the home team, but I am betting that the total stayed UNDER VietBet’s current line.
