Baltimore at Pittsburgh Game Preview
Baltimore rolled over Detroit 44-20 on Sunday as a 2.5-point home favorite to improve to 7-5 straight-up with a 6-5-1 record against the spread. The Ravens are still three games off the pace set by 10-2 Pittsburgh in the AFC North Division title race, but they remain in the thick of the wild card race in the conference. They have gone 3-2-1 ATS in five previous road games this year and the total has gone OVER or ended as a PUSH in seven of their last eight games overall.
With Joe Flacco throwing for 269 yards and two touchdowns, Baltimore’s offense was able to post a total of 370 yards in Sunday’s win. This was a major improvement from a team average of 288.5 yards that is ranked 30th in the league. The Ravens’ defense remained consistent as the seventh-best unit in the league in yards allowed (311.2).
Pittsburgh was able to extend its current SU winning streak to seven games, but it was not nearly as easy as expected in a tight 23-20 win on the road against Cincinnati on Monday night. The Steelers failed to cover as 4.5-point favorites on VietBet’s closing line and they are now an even 6-6 ATS on the year. They have failed to cover in three of their last four games and the total has gone OVER in four of their last six outings.
The combination of Ben Roethlisberger throwing the ball to Antonio Brown accounted for 101 of the Steelers’ 282 passing yards against the Bengals, but Le’Veon Bell was the team’s top receiver with five catches for 106 yards and a score to go along with his 76 rushing yards on 18 carries. Pittsburgh remains the fourth-best passing team in the league and it is seventh in total yards gained. Its defense ranks fifth in points allowed (17.8).
Baltimore at Pittsburgh Free Game Prediction
The betting trends for both of these teams have recently favored the OVER on fairly low total lines, but it has stayed UNDER in four of the last five games between these two bitter rivals. VietBet has set the total rather low again at 41, but I am still going with the UNDER as my top play.
