Cincinnati at Baltimore Game Preview

The Bengals’ postseason dreams came to an end a few weeks ago at 6-9 straight-up (8-7 against the spread) in what could be Marvin Lewis’s swan song as long-time head coach, but there is still some fight left in this team coming off Sunday’s 26-17 home upset over Detroit as three-point underdogs to knock the Lions out of the playoffs in the NFC. Cincinnati has covered the spread in five of its last seven games and it is 5-3 ATS this season as an underdog with VietBet.

In that win against Detroit, Andy Dalton completed an efficient 27-of-41 passing attempts for 238 yards and a touchdown against one interception and three sacks. Giovani Bernard ran the ball 23 times for 116 yards and score while hauling in seven catches for 52 yards receiving. The Bengals’ defense also rose to the occasion by holding the Lions to 276 yards of total offense.

Baltimore grinded out a 23-16 victory against Indianapolis on Sunday to set-up this Sunday’s ‘win and you are in’ scenario for making the playoffs as a wild card team in the AFC. The Ravens improved to 9-6 SU, but they are now 8-6-1 ATS after failing to cover as heavy 13.5-point home favorites in that much needed victory. The total has stayed UNDER or ended as a PUSH on VietBet’s closing line in four of their last six games.

Joe Flacco is another veteran quarterback that has had his issues with consistency this season, but he completed an effective 29 of his 38 passing attempts against the Colts for 237 yards and two scores. The main reason why the Ravens are knocking on the door for their first trip to the postseason since 2014 is a shutdown defense that is fourth in the NFL in points allowed (18.1).

Cincinnati at Baltimore Free Game Prediction

The Bengals showed some life in last week’s win and I do believe they will show up this Sunday against a bitter division rival. A double-digit spread in any AFC North matchup is tough to resist so I am taking the 10 points at BetAnySports with a bet that Cincinnati covers.
