Thursday Night Football on CBS this week features an AFC battle between the Miami Dolphins and the Baltimore Ravens in a scheduled 8:25 p.m. kickoff at M&T Bank Stadium.

Miami at Baltimore Game Preview

The Dolphins will be looking to extend their current straight-up winning streak to four games this Thursday night. They battled their way to a PUSH against the spread on Sunday in a 31-28 victory against the New York Jets to boost their overall record to 4-2 SU with a 3-2-1 mark ATS. The total went OVER 39 points in Sunday’s win on BetAnySports’ closing line after staying UNDER in their first five games this season.

With Jay Cutler likely on the shelf for Thursday night with a cracked rib, Miami will once again turn to Matt Moore as its quarterback. In relief of Cutler against the Jets, he completed an efficient 13 of his 21 passing attempts for 188 yards and two scores. The Dolphins got little production from a running game that only managed to gain 53 yards on 25 carries. On the year, this offense is ranked last in the NFL in total yards per game (261.8).

The Ravens have just one victory SU and ATS in their last five games after losing to Minnesota Sunday 24-16 as 5.5-point road underdogs. They are 3-4 (SU and ATS) on the year and trailing Pittsburgh in the AFC North by two full games. The total went OVER BetAnySports’ closing 37.5-point betting line against the Vikings and it has gone OVER four of Baltimore’s last five games. It is 1-2 ATS this season at M&T Bank Stadium.

Joe Flacco is still in place as the Ravens’ starting quarterback on an offense that ranks just above Miami in yards per game. This unit is ranked last in the NFL in passing yards and 23rd in scoring with an average of 18.6 points per game. On the other side of the ball, Baltimore is dead last in the league against the run and it is 18th in total yards allowed. With Jeremy Maclin already missing time at wide receiver due to injury, the loss of Mike Wallace this past Sunday continues to thin out this receiving corps.

Miami continues to find ways to win games while the Ravens continue to come up with ways to lose them. Count on that being the case this Thursday in a short week for both of these AFC foes.
