NFL’s Monday Night Football closes out Week 14 with an AFC East clash between the 10-2 New England Patriots and the 5-7 Miami Dolphins in a slated 8:30 p.m. kickoff on ESPN from Hard Rock Stadium.

New England at Miami Game Preview

The Patriots have now reeled off eight straight-up victories in a row while covering against the spread at BetAnySports in their last six games. In back-to-back division wins the last two weeks, the covered as heavy 17-point home favorites against Miami in a 35-17 victory followed by last Sunday’s 23-3 win on the road against Buffalo as 7.5-point favorites. New England is now 8-4 ATS and the total has stayed UNDER in six of its last eight games.

All Pro tight end Rob Gronkowski has once again  been a big part of the Patriots’ success on offense this season with team-high 55 receptions for 849 yards and seven touchdowns, but he will sit this one out while serving a one-game league suspension. Tom Brady has thrown 19 touchdowns to other players on the team, so filling the void might not be that tall of a task.

The Dolphins recent SU five-game losing streak finally came to an end last Sunday in a 35-9 victory against Denver as slight one-point underdogs at home. This was the first time that Miami covered BetAnySports’ closing betting line in its last seven contests. The total went OVER 41 points in last week’s stunning win and it has gone OVER in its last seven games. The Dolphins are now 4-6-2 ATS including a 3-5-1 record when closing as underdogs.

Miami will have a tall task of keep pace with its AFC East rivals given that it is ranked 26th in the league in scoring (17.4 points) and 29th in total offense (292.6). Jay Cutler has been under the gun all season long with his line giving up 27 sacks on the year and its running game has slid to 29th in the league after the decision to part ways with Jay Ajayi in favor of Kenyan Drake as its lead back.

New England at Miami Free Game Prediction

Giving up 11 points in any heated division matchup comes with some risk, but now is not the time to go against a team that has won its last six games by a combined 112 points. I am laying the points on Monday night in another lopsided win by New England.
