The final two teams in the NFC battle it out this Sunday night for a spot in Super Bowl LII with the Minnesota Vikings going on the road to face the Philadelphia Eagles. Game time from Lincoln Financial Field is set for 6:40 p.m. with FOX carrying the national broadcast.

Minnesota at Philadelphia Game Preview

In reality, the Vikings should not even be in this game given how they got past New Orleans 29-24 last Sunday in the Divisional Round, but that is why they play all 60 minutes of the game. Minnesota still failed to cover as a 5.5-point home favorite and it is now 2-3 against the spread at BetAnySports over its last five games.

Case Keenum was able to make the big throws when he had to last Sunday in his first postseason start including a highly improbable 61-yard scoring strike to Stefon Diggs with no time left on the clock to win the game. He finished with 318 yards passing as part of the Vikings’ 403 yards of total offense. Keenum ended the game completing 62.5 percent of his 40 passing attempts. He was picked off once and sacked two times.

Philadelphia punched its ticket to this conference title showdown by grinding out a 15-10 victory against Atlanta in last Saturday’s Divisional Round matchup as a 2.5-point home underdog. The Eagles had failed to cover in four of their final five regular season games as part of an overall record of 13-3 SU and 10-6 ATS. The total has now stayed UNDER BetAnySports’ closing line in six of their last eight games.

When quarterback Carson Wentz went down in Week 14 with a season-ending knee injury and Nick Foles took his place in the starting lineup, the oddsmakers already knew that the Eagles would be underdogs in any postseason game they played. That worked in the team’s favor against Atlanta with a relentless running game that picked up some key first downs along the way. It also fired up a defense that shutdown one of the NFL’s highest scoring teams over the second half of the season.

The current three-point line has been bet down from 3.5 points at BetAnySports and while as much as I avoid going with the public whenever I can, I do see Philadelphia as the ‘best bet’ in this matchup in what should be a SU win on its home field this Sunday.
